Yota Mobile Home Inventory

The app allows the user to maintain an inventory of any or all personal possessions. The user can record the location and value of any set of items, insurance policy information, purchase information, article specifications etc.

Items are stored in a hierarchy of up to six levels, allowing you to keep track of where each item is. The user can determine what his top level item(s) is(are), and can easily find what is contained in that item / location.

Each item has, in addition to the descriptive data, a category and a sub-category classification. This data can be used to extract reports based on these fields.

Up to six images can be stored, classified as images of the item or images of documents relating to the item, such as the original invoice, insurance policy etc.

The basic (free) version allows the user to maintain up to 25 items in the data base of possessions. For a nominal fee of U$ .99 this limit can be removed.

For another nominal fee of U$ .99 the user has access to a Save As / Open set of functions which allows you to both choose the location of your inventory file and to have multiple inventory files. With this functionality the user can place his inventory file in a Dropbox or other file sharing application and have access to the application on multiple devices.

A third optional feature of the application is the Import / Export function. You can export the full data base to a CSV file. Using Excel or LibreOffice calc (or some other spreadsheet application) you can easily make mass additions or alterations to the data base, after which the CSV file can be imported back into the application. This feature is also available for the nominal fee of U$ .99.
