Salt fog has erased the written manifests of Tide Port, so the last coopers preserve every legal shipment on three rotating bands carved around each cask. In Caskcipher, you select a barrel with one finger and swipe up, down, left, or right to roll it exactly one cell across an integer cellar grid. Every roll changes both position and the phase of the three engraved bands. Customs gates read the visible sun, wave, anchor, star, and other stable glyphs in a fixed order. A manifest can be stamped only when the correct cask reaches every gate with the exact required three-band code.

Hold Preview to compare the four immediate directions from the selected cask. Preview uses the same deterministic simulation as a committed roll, but it never mutates the saved state and it does not reveal a complete solution. Spend Chalk to mark the next required gate code when you need help recovering a plan. Each consignment contains four connected cellars. Between cellars, choose one of three Seal Clauses that changes band phases, visible information, Chalk rewards, or the risk and token multiplier. Collisions, wrong casks, wrong codes, out-of-order gates, and exhausted step limits all produce distinct visual and audio feedback. A failed shipment can be retried immediately. One optional rewarded recovery per consignment can restore the most recent cellar checkpoint.

The playable first version includes twelve consignments, forty-eight authored cellars with verified solution routes, eight Seal Clauses, four district themes, bilingual English and Simplified Chinese UI, atomic save recovery, Dock Token progression, and a Seal Rubbing archive. The larger forty-consignment and forty-eight-rubbing catalog described in the design remains a production goal. Ads are optional and limited to recovery, redraw, or reward acceleration. They never plan a route, reveal an answer, impose energy, or unlock exclusive puzzle rules. The 2.5D presentation is rendered in the real Godot mobile compatibility pipeline: precise 2D grid logic controls every decision while a fixed orthographic 3D cellar shows readable cask rotation, engraved bands, gate order, wax stamps, and route feedback.
