Kasiṇa meditation is one of the most common types of Samatha meditation, intended to settle the mind of the practitioner and create a foundation for further practices of meditation. In kasiṇa meditation, a mental object (Kasina) is used as the object of meditation, being used to keep the mind focused whenever attention drifts.

In this application, consisting of

1. Earth Kasina (soil / solid elements Not just the soil). The mind focuses the soil by determining that this is the soil Inhale, pray "Prayawee", exhale, pray "Kasina".

2. Fire Kasina (fire element, hot element), the mind is the focus of the flame By specifying that this is a fire Breath in. Pray as "Techo". Breathe out in prayer, "Kasina".

3. Wind Kasina (Wind element) The mind focussed on the wind, thinking of the wind by specifying that this is the wind. Breathe in. Pray as "Wayo". Breathe out in prayer, "Kasina."

4. Water Kasina (water / liquid element) The mind thinks of water, concentrating on water Is to focus on water By specifying that this is water Breath in. Pray as "Apo". Breathe out, pray "Kasina."

5. Red Kasina, Kasin or red vision can be red flowers, red blood or red clothes. The mind thinks red Breath in. Pray as "Lohitung". Breathe out, pray "Kasina."
