About Lexnur
Free offline dictionaries: English, Arabic, French, Japanese, Chinese. No ads.
Lexnur gives you real dictionaries that work without internet.
Pick the dictionaries you want, download them once, and look up words anywhere: on a plane, underground or on a tight data plan. Suggestions appear as you type.
• Free, with no ads, no account and no tracking
• Works fully offline once a dictionary is downloaded
• 16 dictionaries for English, Arabic, French, Japanese and Chinese
• English: Wiktionary English and Open English WordNet
• Arabic: Lane's Arabic–English Lexicon, Salmoné's Arabic–English Dictionary, Wiktionary Arabic–English and English–Arabic, and Arabic WordNet, with vowelled headwords and roots
• French: Wiktionnaire, French–English, French–Arabic and Arabic–French
• Japanese and Chinese: JMdict, CC-CEDICT, and English–Japanese and English–Chinese from Wiktionary
• Arabic search that ignores diacritics, tatweel and alef variants: type كتب and find كَتَبَ and كِتَاب
• Search one dictionary or all of them at once
• Tap a root to see the words built from it
• Light and dark themes, an English or Arabic interface, and support for large text
Dictionaries are downloaded only when you choose them. The app shows their size first and asks before a large download uses mobile data.
