The “Meine AO” app offers our customers many options. You can submit invoices and certain contractual documents, receive benefit statements and have access to an extensive healthcare portal. In addition, those who are fully insured for medical expenses and benefits can access our health partner TeleClinic (doctor visit online**) via the app.
What can the "My AO" app do?
Submissions
- Very simply invoices, prescriptions or contract documents such as e.g. B. Submit notifications about changes to the contract (we generally require the originals of foreign invoices to be sent by post).

Doctor visit online**
- Carry out a simple doctor's visit online 7 days a week, 365 days a year, which, according to generally recognized professional standards, does not require personal medical contact
- You can speak with a doctor via video call directly or at the time you want
- Receive prescriptions via the app and redeem them directly at a partner pharmacy or have them delivered

The doctor treating you via TeleClinic decides whether - depending on the illness - a digital visit to the doctor is medically justifiable or a personal medical contact and, if necessary, a further on-site diagnosis is necessary. ALTE OLDENBURGER Krankenversicherung AG reimburses all those who are fully insured for illness and benefits for the costs of visiting a doctor online within the scope of the tariff.

Who can use the app?
The “Meine AO” app is available to policyholders of ALTE OLDENBURGER Krankenversicherung AG free of charge. As a user, you must have a health insurance contract and a valid user registration. Customers who have only concluded a contract for international travel health insurance cannot use the "My AO" app.
How safe is my data?
Your data is stored in encrypted form and is protected from unauthorized access by extensive security measures. The ALTE OLDENBURGER has no access to the data in the app.
Can I sync the data to another device?
The app offers you the option of saving your data in encrypted form in a cloud and transferring it to another device (so-called cloud synchronization). In this way, your data cannot be lost when you change devices and can be restored to the new device using a synchronization key that only you know. Important: Only you will receive this key! If you lose it, the data cannot be synchronized.
How can I sign up?
To be able to use "My AO", simply register with your customer data in the app. You will then receive your access data shortly by post.
