Square breathing(4x4 breathing or 4-part breath) is a technic that can help increase the level of your energy, calm your nervous system and reduce the level of stress.
How to do square breathing
Set up for practice.
You can sit in a seated meditation or in a chair with your back supported. Place both of your feet on the floor. Try to feel the support of the chair and floor under you.
Put the mobile application in front of you.
Begin by slowly exhaling all of your air out.
When a black dot starts moving up slowly inhale through your nose while the dot is moving up.
Hold at the top of the breath while the dot is moving from left to right.
Then exhale through your mouth while the dot is moving down.
At the bottom of the breath, pause and hold while the dot is moving from right to left.
