His name and lineage:

Abu Ibrahim Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab bin Ali Al-Wasabi Al-Abdali Al-Yamani.

Al-Wasabi: It is related to Wessab Al-Safeel from the works of Dhamar, and it is located west of Dhamar, about an 8-hour drive away.

Al-Abdali: It is related to Bani Abdullah, and it is an isolation from Wasab Al-Safil.

Birth and upbringing:

He was born approximately in the fifties, in the isolation of Bani Abdullah, and grew up there, and he was inclined to righteousness since his youth; Especially with the fact that he grew up in a religious family; He grew up in his peace and serenity.

Request for knowledge:

In the office, he studied calligraphy, reading, and writing, and memorized the Holy Qur'an at the hands of his father and his teachers.

In his youth, he left for the Kingdom, and he was also studying in the Great Mosque of Mecca, and studied at the Institute of the Haram for a period of time, then returned to his country, and called for monotheism, and the rejection of polytheism, heresies and sectarianism... So those who opposed him opposed him, and they rejected him; Especially since their doctrine is Shafi’i, and Sufism has the upper hand in heresies and polytheisms in those countries.

- Then the matter settled on accepting the Sunnah, and it spread in those countries; Because of that Sheikh Mubarak and others.

- He also traveled to Sheikh Muqbil, may God Almighty have mercy on him, and stayed in Dammaj for about four years - except for the winter - and he used to teach in that lofty hall, and teach students in private lessons, and so on.

Moving to Hodeidah:

The Sheikh, may God preserve him, had built a mosque for him in the city of Al-Hodeidah - the Sunni mosque - so he moved to it and settled in it, so many students left for him, and he is standing there with advocacy, teaching, authorship, fatwa, and spreading the Sunnah.

The Sheikh has a history of authorship, and he has several books:

(1) «The Useful Saying in Evidence for Tawheed»

It was written in 1405 AH, twenty years ago.

(2) “Clarification of the significance in the graduation of the hadith: “There is no i’tikaaf except in the three mosques.”

(3) «The clear statement about the Meccan pilgrimage».

(4) «The number of degrees of the pulpit».

(5) «The ruling on breastfeeding the great».

He has written more than eighty books, as Brother Muhammad Bin Yahya Al-Wasabi told me; He heard that from the Sheikh in one of his lessons.

Sheikh / Muqbil, may God Almighty have mercy on him, described the writings of Sheikh / Muhammad, and his composition, by saying:

(The mastery in his investigations, and his compilation, his words on the hadith are extremely perfect) [Translation from the book: “The Translation” by the Sheikh, may God Almighty have mercy on him).

He said in the introduction to “Illustration of Connotation”:

(He combined jurisprudence and hadith, mentioning the translations, the differences of scholars, and mentioning the degree of hadith).

His keenness to apply the Sunnah and to call for it in word and deed:

The Sheikh/Muhammad is considered a verse in the application of the Sunnah in his whole life, in his food, drink, marriage, supplication, prayer, fasting, …, and all his worship.

In his mosque - the mosque of the Sunnah - the call to prayer for the Sunnah; There is no stretching, and there is no innovation in it, and praying on the Sunnah, just as he also built his mosque on the Sunnah, had it not been for the intervention of some of the officials who obliged him to build a mihrab in it.

Thus in the lectures he urges the Sunnah, as we heard him in a lecture of his, saying:

(The Sunnah is for the dowry to be (500) dirhams, equivalent to (5000) Yemeni riyals, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the Sunnis will be, God willing, in the foreground, and I, thank God, have applied this to my daughters (5000) riyals; I say Him: This is the dowry...

We apply the Sunnah, and we are keen to be Sunnis in word and deed, and this is considered an invitation. Practical application is a call to goodness and God’s blessing) [tape: “The Rulings of Marriage”].

(We, servants of God, are required to act upon Islam and to apply it if we want to be happy, to be successful, and to win in this world and the next, in word, deed, and application) [Ibid].

Sheikh/ Muqbil, may God have mercy on him, said, describing Sheikh/ Muhammad:

(- The intensity of his love for the Sunnah.

- If the truth appears to him, he bites it with his molars, and does not care who opposes it.

His intense love for the Sunnis, and his hatred for the innovators.

His interest in faith.

Correct understanding of the benefits.

- Extreme hatred of the abhorrent partisanship that divided the Muslims.

The witness mentioned the Sunnah and adhered to it.

His position on the innovator:

The Sheikh was known for his hatred of heresies and their people, and the great scholars testified to that.

Sheikh Muqbel, may God have mercy on him, says:

(Sheikh Muhammad is the caller to gather the word of the Muslims, warns against tainted partisanship... and hates the innovator, each according to his innovation) [Introduction to “clarification of significance”].

He said in the introduction to “Tanweer al-Zalamat” by Sheikh Muhammad al-Imam:

(Among the contemporary Sunni scholars, standing in the face of the owners of falsehood: Sheikh / Muhammad Nasir Al-Din Al-Albani, Sheikh / Ibn Baz, Sheikh / Rabee, and others, and in Yemen Sheikh / Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab Al-Wasabi - so he started with it - and Sheikh / Abdul Aziz Al-Barai, And Sheikh / Abdullah Ibn Othman, and Sheikh / Othman Al-Atami, and Sheikh / Yahya Al-Hajouri, and Sheikh / Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Hajari, and Sheikh / Abdul Raqib Al-Ibi, and among that is Sheikh / Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Imam, who is a collector of knowledge
