Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr, Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Obaid bin Sufyan bin Qais Al-Baghdadi Al-Qurashi, their master from the loyalists of Banu Umayyah (208 AH - 281 AH), nicknamed Ibn Abi Al-Dunya (his title overshadowed his name until he became famous); Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr was born in the city of Baghdad, at the beginning of the third century AH in the year two hundred and eight (208 AH).
