From Dante Alighieri’s Inferno and its nine circles of Hell, to the Ars Goetia, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, Malleus Maleficarum, and Dictionnaire Infernal, these ancient and medieval sources described demons with astonishing detail: their names, ranks, powers, forms, and domains.

In the game, every major boss is based on a real demon from historical texts. Before each battle, you unlock lore entries revealing:
