HOW UNRUSH WORKS When you reach for a distracting app out of habit, Unrush intervenes with a calm, non-aggressive pause screen. Instead of a hard block, it asks a simple question: "Is this intentional?"

By requiring a brief breathing exercise or a conscious tap challenge before granting access, Unrush gives your prefrontal cortex time to re-engage, effectively retraining your neural pathways over time.

Accessibility Service Disclosure: Unrush uses the AccessibilityService API to provide its core digital wellbeing functionality. We use this service to: • Monitor which apps are currently in the foreground to detect when a blocked app is opened. • Show a mindful intervention screen (overlay) to help you pause and rethink your app usage. • Intervene and block access to distracting apps to protect your focus and time.

We do NOT read, store, or transmit any sensitive data, screen content, keystrokes, passwords, or personal messages. All processing happens locally and securely on your device.
