Do you know that eggs contain two antioxidants namely lutein and zeaxanthin. These are good for maintaining good vision (eye health). Eggs are also good sources of choline. One egg provides 35% of our daily needs. Choline helps to maintain brain function as well as supports the nervous system and cardiovascular health. Vitamin D which is found in eggs helps to keep our bones and teeth strong. It also helps the absorption of calcium in our body.
In this weight loss diet plan, you will also be taking a lot of fruits and vegetables as required in this diet plan. The daily menu will consists of salads or steamed vegetables made up of colorful vegetables like lettuce, spinach, cucumber, bell pepper, avocado, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower and zucchini. You will get to enjoy fruits such as orange, watermelon, peach, apple, etc.
The diet restricts consuming sweets or desserts. Alcohol is also restricted. Instead, it is important to drink lots of water every day, 6 - 8 glasses daily. It helps to detox your body and keeps you hydrated.
