The termination of the contract is made official through the TRCT (Term of Termination of Employment Contract). This document provides numerous information regarding the employer and the employee, such as the date of dismissal, admission, type of contract, severance pay, among others.

There are several ways to break the employment relationship. Among the main ones:

✅ Dismissal for just cause;

✅ Dismissal without just cause;

✅ Mutual guilt;

✅ Consensual or mutually agreed dismissal;

✅ Resignation for just cause;

✅ Request for dismissal without just cause;

Each employment contract termination template has its own rules and guidelines. This means that the employee's labor rights need to be analyzed in each case. If there are differences in the value of severance pay, prior notice and other items.

The contract termination recently had its unified payment term. That is, regardless of the reason for the end of the contract, the company has 10 days, counting from the end of the contract, to make the payment of the termination.
