Minplan can be used for many of life's crises and can be filled out by the user themselves, possibly with the help of relatives or professionals. It is optimal to complete Minplan in advance so that it is ready when the crisis occurs.

Minplan has been developed in collaboration with researchers and suicide prevention agencies in Denmark and Norway. The method in Minplan is therefore the most common and used method within the psychiatric world.

A crisis plan is useful for people who suffer from depression, anxiety or self-harming behaviour, but is also beneficial in other areas such as stress, physical illnesses etc.

Start by outlining your network and write down the strategies and options you use when you are in crisis. It could be such as taking a shower, visiting a friend or going for a run. When your network and your strategies are filled in in Minplan, you can record symptoms of your crises and link them to your network and your strategies. When this is done, you have thus prepared your personal plans / options for action, which can be used if or when the crisis arises.

My plan also contains directions to the nearest psychiatric emergency room in Denmark and contact information for the Children's Telephone and Lifeline.

Minplan can be used both preventively, so that you can prepare yourself if you have experience of crisis situations occurring at certain times.

Or it can be used urgently if you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a crisis. We hope you enjoy it.
