The Current Language Translation (TLA) is a direct translation of the biblical languages ​​(Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek); it is not an adaptation or paraphrase of any existing Spanish version. The two official versions of the United Bible Societies (UBS) that are used in all our translations around the world have been taken as the basis for the translation: the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the revised fourth edition of the Greek New Testament.

For the translation, the translation principles established by the SBU have been followed, whose emphasis falls on the faithful translation of the meaning of the original text and not on the grammatical forms or isolated words of the source text. Every effort has been made to ensure that our audience receives the same meaning of the message that the first audiences of the biblical text received. For this reason, appropriate guidelines have been established for this version both linguistically and literary.

The paragraph has been taken as the basic unit of discourse. For this reason, special attention is paid to the sentences that serve as transitions within the paragraph itself and between all the paragraphs that make up the text. In this sense, the story or narrative is structured in such a way that the cause precedes the effect, that the previous information precedes the new. In addition, attention has been paid to the different planes that the characters occupy in the story. We have considered how one sentence ends and how the next begins; how nouns and pronouns change, the distance between the subject and the predicate, the rhythm of grammatical constructions, and the sounds of words and syllables.

Clipping favorites shows the verses you marked for quick access.

The Search menu will allow you to put a word in a text field and search the entire bible, in the old or new testament, If you specify the search range it may take less time to find matches, but if you select the entire bible it will take longer. find the results.

Settings will allow you to change the font size and reading mode (Night and Day).
