"Happiness Up" is an app that can be used by all customers who own Hitachi home appliances.

[1] Check information useful for housework all in one app

With Happiness Up, you can check the operation status (※1) of connected home appliances and information useful for housework such as seasonal ingredients all in one place.

(※1) Target: Connected home appliances Washing machines and refrigerators (freezer R-KC11R is not supported)

[2] Information is provided according to usage. Use home appliances for a long time with peace of mind

・We provide maintenance suggestions, tips on how to use home appliances, and peace of mind inspection reports. Even if you don't remember when to clean or replace filters, you can rest assured because you will receive notifications (※2).

・We will inform you of whether or not the product can be repaired in the event of a product failure based on the retention period of repair parts (repair performance parts). We will inform you of the manufacturer's retention period of repair parts (※3), which will arrive after a certain period of time has passed since the end of production of the target product. It will be an opportunity to check the condition of the home appliances you are using.

(※2) Target: Connected appliances washing machines and refrigerators *Freezer R-KC11R is not supported

(※3) Target: Hitachi appliances that can be registered in the app and are reaching the parts retention period (excluding some models)

[3] Find the information you want to know about Hitachi appliances immediately. Support for solving problems in case of emergency

You can check instruction manuals and how-to videos on your smartphone immediately. Also, if you think your appliance is malfunctioning or broken, you can access the inquiry desk and repair consultations and applications from your smartphone.

[4] "Quick Recipe Planning" allows you to receive recipes for up to 7 days, one item per day

By simply setting the date you want suggestions and the ingredients you want to use (※4), you can easily receive recipes for up to 7 days, one item per day (※5).

(※4) For connected appliance refrigerators, recipes are suggested from the ingredients list in the "Hitachi Refrigerator Concierge App". (However, connected appliances such as refrigerators and freezers R-KC11R released before January 2011 are not supported.)

(※5) Displays recipes for cooking menus for the MRO-W10B microwave oven. If you are using a connected appliance microwave oven paired with the "Hitachi Microwave Oven Healthy Chef App", recipes that can be cooked with your microwave oven will be displayed.

[5] "Emergency Appliance Alert" provides one-stop service from notification of appliance malfunction to application for repair

If a malfunction (※7) occurs in the connected appliance (washing machine/refrigerator) (※6) that you are using, you will be notified on your smartphone screen, and you can check the response method and apply for repair in one stop on the app.

(※6) Target: Connected appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators (freezer R-KC11R is not supported)

(※7) A malfunction of the product itself is a symptom for which there are limited ways for the customer to deal with the problem and which is deemed to require inspection or repair by a repair technician. On the product, the following is displayed.

・Washing machine: A notification number beginning with "F" will be displayed. ・Refrigerator: The display on the operation panel will flash.

[6] Easily diagnose "worrisome symptoms" of connected appliances and provide hints to resolve them

Diagnoses the operation data of the customer's connected appliances (※8) and provides hints and advice to resolve the problem.

(※8) Target: Connected appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators (however, washing machine BD-NX120C, refrigerator R-KX57K, and freezer R-KC11R are not supported)

[7] Customize the rice cooking results and rice cooking course to your liking. Make rice more "My Way" (※9)

Every time you rate rice in the app, you can run the "My Way" course to get closer to your preferred rice cooking results, and the "frequently used rice cooking course" that allows you to register rice cooking settings and reservation settings in the app. In addition, you can use the reservation time change function and rice inventory management function.
