Be sure to check with your doctor about the need for use, although these recipes, in terms of their qualitative and quantitative composition, correspond to the physiological needs of a person for food and can be prescribed for long periods.

The choice of table 7 or 10 by the attending physician is prescribed for chronic nephritis without exacerbation, acute nephritis in the convalescent stage, nephropathy of pregnant women. Also, the choice is aimed at restoring the normal functioning of the heart, normalizing blood circulation in diseases of the cardiovascular system with circulatory failure of I-II degrees.

The purpose of prescribing diet number 7 or diet number 10 is to spare the cardiovascular system and kidney function, reduce hypertension, edema and shortness of breath, improve blood circulation and remove nitrogenous toxins and under-oxidized metabolic products from the body.

The proposed recipes for table number 7 or table number 10 for nephritis and nephropathy facilitate the possibility of compiling a menu of therapeutic nutrition, taking into account the limitations of the food set and the recommended methods of culinary processing of dishes. The application contains recommended recipes for preparing foods for physiologically complete diets, enriched with alkalizing foods, with a decrease in the amount of purines and the exclusion of oxalic acid.

The composition of the diet number 7 or 10 should include the chemical composition for the day:

- proteins 90-100 g,

- fats 70-80 g (25-30% vegetable),

- carbohydrates 350-400 (sugars 80-90 g).

Energy value 3000-3500 kcal.

Table salt 3-5 g is handed out to the sick doctor, the rest is contained in the products. Dishes are prepared without salt.

Free liquid (pure water) 1-1.2 liters per day. In inflammatory processes, the fluid is not limited.

Table number 7 or 10 implies a diet 5-6 times a day.
