Discussing the Prophet's noble morals to be a good role model
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has sent His Messenger with guidance (the Qur'an) and the true religion so that He can win over all other religions. Allah Ta'ala has chosen the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam among other humans with knowledge. He truly prepared him for this great purpose and great task. He educated and taught him the best he could. He purified and cleansed his soul. He also bestowed upon him a charming appearance, a dignified personality, good behavior, noble morals, an open heart, and a generous soul. Glory be to Allah who created him with all these noble provisions, and made him the best role model for all humans and a role model for righteous people.
And among the contents it also discusses the Messenger of Allah Telling Us to Be Friendly
Rasulullah SAW said, "A believer is friendly and there is no good for someone who is not friendly. And the best human being is the one who is most beneficial to humans." (HR Thabrani and Daruquthni, from Jabir RA).
The above hadith again reminds us of our human identity to always be friendly in social interactions between each other. This is an attitude that in the last month has become a question for all of us, especially regarding our attitude as humans to respect the human rights of others.
The suicide bombing at the Full Gospel Bethel Church (GBIS), Kepunton, Solo, (25/9) and the rampant corruption in various fields and various riots that lead to racial conflict, such as the case in Ambon some time ago, further strengthen that we are starting to become unfriendly. with human values and pluralism. We are starting to become indifferent and unfriendly in guarding the mother earth that we love.
If you look at the hadith above, it is very clear and unequivocal that the intended object of the hadith is "believers". So, an attitude of friendliness is something that absolutely must be integrated into a believer. This means that the quality of a person's faith can be measured by how far he as a believer in his social life carries out his human "friendliness" (read appreciates and respects).
In practice, if a believer lives in diversity, then he can appreciate and accept all differences. If he is an official, then he can voice and trust the aspirations of his people. And if he is a leader, then he can channel all his leadership energy to bring about the prosperity of his people.
Implementing this form of hospitality is the most essential thing, considering that the essence of a believer is not only that he is good at reciting certain oaths, but what is more important than that is the concrete manifestation of his actions in society. "Al-imanu tashdiiqun bil qalbi, wa ikrarun bil oral, wa a'malun bil arkan" (a believer not only justifies it in his heart and makes a vow verbally, but more than that he carries it out in the form of deeds).
By paying attention to the essence of believers, the next sentence of the hadith is very contextual, that the best human being is the person who is most beneficial to other humans. This means that our existence as humans (in whatever position) will be largely determined by how far we can benefit those around us. If this principle is used as the main guideline, then of course there will be no elements of degrading actions that arise in the heart.
