Palestra Squash Point

Squash Point Palestra Torino is a sports center in the center of Turin, a few steps from Piazza Statuto and easily reachable from all parts of the city.

The venue is a charming industrial structure (former brewery) from the beginning of the last century. Large, very high and bright rooms, perfect for gym activities, allow us to train in a pleasant environment and for many hours a day with natural light.

We are in fact open 7 days a week with ample midweek hours (from 7:00 to 22:00)

In the 2 rooms for group activities we offer more than 20 different types of courses, in a very wide time slot: between 9.00 and 21.00.

The activities are not virtual, but held by trained and competent instructors and .. in flesh and blood !. The differentiation of the types and intensity of the courses, from "sweet" activities, to the most musical and choreographed, to the most "strong", allows everyone to find the activity that suits their preferences and level of physical preparation.

Functional training, training with weights and strength machines and cardiovascular training can be carried out in the weight and functional training rooms with a vast assortment of modern equipment. We can finalize workouts to increase muscle mass or strength for aesthetic or sports purposes, but also for simple toning, targeted firming or recovery of post-traumatic functionality. In the Cardio Fitness Room you will find complete Technogym equipment (treadmills, bikes, rowers, vario, stepper, top, glidex, rotex, wave) and for cycling enthusiasts the innovative SKILL BIKE.

Here, training takes place aimed at improving the resistance and efficiency of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, which are essential for preparing for the practice of other sports and obviously for weight loss.

Of course, qualified trainers are always present and available for the preparation and renewal of personalized work programs and whose assistance is included in the subscription and does not involve additional costs.

The training program is prepared after a careful medical history. an interview with the instructor always precedes the construction or renewal of the program. The objectives to be achieved, the time available for training and its distribution, other sports activities, any physical problems and, last but not least, the satisfaction of the various types of training are evaluated. Based on this information, our instructors are able to prepare a truly personalized and effective work plan. Food advice that the instructors can add to the training program help to complete the approach to fitness in the most correct and healthy way.

THE SQUASH a dynamic, fast, fun sport. Related to tennis for the use of the racket, but profoundly different in technique and athletic involvement. Learning times are usually much faster and in a short time you get to play, sweat and have fun. The playing periods are reduced, usually by 45 minutes, given the intensity of the effort and the small number of 'dead' times.
